Obtaining Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0

        Acrobat Reader Download Directions:
        1)   Click on the above icon or address.
                   Optional - Right click instead the above icon or address.  Select "Open in New Window". 
                   (This will allow you to keep these directions available during the installation.)

        2)   On the Adobe web page click on "Get Acrobat Reader free". 

        3)   A new page comes up.  In the column labeled "Step 1" click next to the Platform box and select
               your operating system (Win 95, Win98, Win Me, etc.).

        4)   Click on the box labeled "Include options for searching PDF files and accessibility support".

        5)   The column labeled "Step 2" is optional and can be skipped.

        7)   Click on the "DOWNLOAD" button in "Step 3". 

        8)   After a few seconds the "Windows File Download" box appears. 
               Select "Run this program from its current location"          Click "OK".
                      (Note: If desired you an optionally select "Save this file  to disk" and follow that procedure)

        9)   Click on "Ok" and "Next" whenever requested.

      10)   Downloading starts and should take a half-hour or so (a few minutes on Roadrunner).

      11)   Click on "OK" in the "Thank you" box when the installation is complete.


                   (Note: If you are upgrading an older version of Acrobat Reader you will have to manually uninstall
                    the older version as the download procedure does not automatically replace the older version.
                   To do this use the "Uninstall Reader x.0" icon in the Acrobat x.0 start menu.  Do not use the
                   Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.)
